We want you to be confident that your child is going to have a fun, safe experience with us. Here are some answers to questions you may have. If you have any additional questions, please fill out our contact form! We can't wait to connect with you.

How do I register My child?

On our "Programs" page we have listed out the dates and locations for camp this summer. E-mail Wendy@camp-haven.com and she will connect you with a local group leader to sign up!

What are the allowed age ranges for campers?

This is technically up to the church hosting, but usually the ages range from 2nd-6th grade. 

Where do I take my child for drop off or pick up?

Each church will have a designated location for camp. We will send instructions via e-mail, and at each site there will be large directional signs that point parents to the drop-off location.

What are the drop off and pick up times?

Times may vary based on the week, so please check the local church through which you are registering.

What if my child needs to miss a day or leave early?

Totally fine, please make sure the camp staff or church leaders know ahead of time and we can make sure they are ready for you when you come to pick them up.

Can I hang around while my child is at camp?

Though we would love to get you to the top of the rock wall or in a go cart, we cannot allow people to hang around without approval from the church leadership. It is for the safety of the kids!

What activities are provided and does my child need to sign up for them?

Every child should be able to participate in every activity at some point during the week. Because we have it set up this way, you do not need to sign children up for activities. Though activities may change depending on the week, there is a basic list on camp programs page.

What is the cost?

The cost for Camp Haven is $200 per child, however, some churches may choose to sponsor children making the tuition cost less. Others may charge more because they want to provide food or other amenities not provided by Camp Haven. Because of this, cost may vary week to week.

What if my child needs to take medication during the day?

Please let the church leadership know. They will let us know and we will help make sure they take it. If you are not comfortable with us giving your child medication, we will come up with a plan to get it to them. 

Does my child stay on site the entire time?

Yes, they will be supervised and contained onsite.

What should my child bring?

Please wear closed toed shoes! Back pack with: Bible, Journal, sack lunch (if not provided by local church), sunscreen, water bottle, bug spray, and a hat.
They may get a little wet as well (not soaking), so if you want to provide extra clothes feel free.
