As we look toward the future of Camp Haven, we’re thrilled to share a great opportunity to make your gifts go even further. We are very close to being able to begin the onsite ministry we have been dreaming about since Camp Haven began in 2021. A generous donor has offered to jump start our Capital Campaign to raise funds for our main meeting hall.
This donor has challenged us to raise $35,000 by December 31, 2025. If we meet this challenge, our donor will match with $35,000, totaling $70,000. This will enable us to close in our hay barn. Having this space with a kitchen, bathrooms, and a big meeting room will allow us to begin booking camps, retreats, and gatherings at Camp Haven.
The Lord is so good, and He provides for His people. We know that this will propel us into a new era at Camp Haven. We are so excited about how far camp has come the past five years. However, to continue expanding and growing the ministry, we need you! We are seeking to raise monthly support so our team can prepare, build, and expand the ministry. We are also beginning our capital campaign to build the buildings we need. We are excited to be launching our capital campaign to begin building. Step one is to raise enough to enclose and outfit our hay barn so that we can start having retreats and camps onsite. Currently, we have cleared out trees according to our master site plan which will make space for future buildings and cabins. Step two is to build a cabin (pictured) that will house roughly 100 campers. We have built the pad for this building and will begin the process after our meeting space is finished.
